On Sunday, 31st August 2025, Kachance Kids Uganda continued its mission of serving families in need through a heartfelt community outreach providing clothes and shoes to children and mothers in the Wakiso District. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to uplift vulnerable families, restore hope, and ensure that every child and mother can live with dignity, confidence, and comfort.
Why We Do It
In many of the communities we serve, families struggle to meet even their most basic needs.
For many children, wearing torn clothes or walking barefoot is a daily reality a visible reminder of the hardships their families face. Mothers, too, often go without, choosing to provide for their children first.
At Kachance Kids, we believe that dignity is a right, not a privilege. Through our clothing and shoe distribution drives, we aim to bring relief, restore self esteem, and show families that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
Clothing Families, Warming Hearts
During the August 31st outreach, our team of volunteers, staff, and community partners came together to distribute:
Clothes for boys and girls of all ages
Comfortable shoes for children to wear to school and play
Clothing and footwear for mothers, including those in single-parent homes
Families expressed deep gratitude, and the joy on the faces of children trying on shoes and clothes was truly heartwarming. For many, it was the first time in years they had received something a reminder that kindness and community can change lives.
A Day of Connection and Hope
The outreach was more than just a distribution it was a celebration of compassion and togetherness.
Volunteers spent time listening to families, encouraging mothers, and reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles. Children played, laughed, and shared smiles that reflected renewed confidence and joy. Through small acts of giving, big transformations continue to happen in Wakiso one family at a time.
